Garnet McPherson is known in some circles and "The man with nine lives". His genious is that he wears many hats well, which has given him both insights and ideas that inform his understanding of the challenges the human race must eneviably face. For four decades he has forecast many of the changes we see playing out today and been warning us about potential challenges on the horizon. He is seen as a visionary when it comes to designing a sustainable human culture. As a leader in Sustainable Living Garnet McPherson created The Green Planet Foundation which developed eco festivals and Earthday events across the country. He founded EcoEarthwalk an eco-education centre which developed an environmental curriculum with over 100 programs for high schools and universities. He was the editor of Sustainable Living Magazine. As an eco inventor, he has designed everything from electric cars and tractors to solar-powered heating and cooling systems and went on to found Leading EDG an incubator for eco-innovation. Garnet McPherson is the chief designer for Natural Buildings a green building service, Green Thumbs an edible landscape and regenerative agriculture design group, and Earthworks Eco Villages a sustainable community design and development group. 

As a leader in Communications Garnet McPherson supervised the research in communications designed around information retention and behaviour modification for Insight Communications. He is the creative director for Media Arts Group which provides content across a wide spectrum of media. He has designed and developed photography studios, film studios, and multi-media studios. He designs for Graphic Exposure and Turnkey Website Solutions. He founded the Ghostwriters Guild of Canada. He designed and built several co-operative studios for the communication arts. The largest was the 20,000 sq ft Studio Arts Centre on the waterfront of Toronto and the most recent is Our Studio which will be supporting independent producers working on eco-media productions.
